About the facilitator:

Heather Howard, MBA, PhD, ACS is a board certified clinical sexologist in private practice, an associate professor of clinical sexology at The Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco, and a gynecological teaching associate at USCF and Stanford Medical Schools through Project Prepare.

She holds a PhD in human sexuality and certificates in sex education and clinical sexology.  She enjoys helping people integrate pleasure and intimate connection into their lives, especially during major life transitions.

She founded the Center for Sexual Health and Rehabilitation to provide resources for people facing sexual challenges, and has created a private and non-threatening environment for clients to ask questions and discuss sensitive topics.  Her approach is sex-positive and nonjudgmental and she uses an educational model to help clients identify their sexual goals and develop tools to meet those goals.
